The Front Porch
The Front Porch vision is to bridge people to Jesus.
We seek to create a welcoming space that serves our community through prayer and practical needs.
The ways in which we serve the community will be shaped and guided by the needs that we see arising.
In alignment with our vision at Uniting Life Church, we are open and obedient to what God leads us into and for this reason the ministry opportunities are likely to change and evolve over time.
The Front Porch leadership team invites suggestions and feedback at all times, and are open to incorporating new ideas for programs/ministries not yet listed below.
The following pilot initiatives will be launching softly from September 7th onwards:
- Staff presence: volunteers available for conversation and prayer Tues-Thurs 9:30-4pm
- Pottery Studio: volunteers create and mend pottery items Tuesdays 9:30-3pm
- Food support & toy library: volunteers provide basic needs support with dignity, distribute meals, clothing & children's toys as needed.
